The Madison Anglers House is a stylish single story sanctuary that has been tastefully designed, with a recently completed renovation. Vaulted ceilings throughout the living and dining areas echo the surrounding peaks. Our spacious, warm abode has been restored to treat all 10 guests to stunning forest and mountain views that can be admired from large picture windows.

Our Yellowstone vacation rental is located just about 30 miles from the Yellowstone Airport. Near the airport you can find the Silver Tip Pharmacy and supermarkets including Food Roundup Supermarket and Market Place. Local establishments near our home include Madison Foods, Driftwood Bar & Bistro, Blue Moon Saloon, and Grizzly Bar & Grill. The home is stocked with basic cooking gear but you are encouraged to bring your favorite foods. Don’t forget to fill up. There’s a lot of space between towns in Montana, so make sure you fill up your gas tank every chance you get. It can be quite a distance between cell towers, too, so don’t always expect to have cell phone service. We recommend downloading the local map to your phone ahead of time.

Do you have any tips on wildlife?

There are a lot of wild animals in Montana. Keep an eye out when you’re driving in Montana as you never know what’s going to dart into the road. Maintain a safe distance. Montana has grizzly bears, lynx, black bears, moose, wolverines, mountain lions, bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, white-tailed deer, coyotes and wolves. The region is also home to badgers, beavers, otters, porcupines, mink, and bats.
